Well, it is hard to believe that we are already talking about Confirmation winding down here! We only have a handful of classes to go before it is all over. We just had a great weekend discovering what all makes us unique as United Methodists. It was an awesome weekend.
Now there are many important details that you as the parent and mentor need to know in order to make this up-coming weekend extremely special and memorable! The next Confirmation Retreat is coming up on March 16-17th! Click HERE to get a registration form with all the information you need to know! This is an important retreat as we learn about what makes us uniquely "United Methodists"! We will need mentors and parents to also help and attend so please click on the "VolunteerSpot" button below and sign up if you are planning on coming along with us!
Confirmation BasicsEvery year we invite the new 7th graders and any other students to join our Confirmation Class. The class goes from November to April. We cover Christian history, theology, and our United Methodist heritage. The classes are on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.. Our class is also available on-line. The Confirmation process involves classes, 3 overnights, service projects, Bible reading and quizzes. For schedule and additional details contact Scott Russ at sruss@epiphanyumc.org.
