Rev. Kathy Currier is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and joined Epiphany UMC in July 2018 as our Senior Pastor.
Pastor Kathy has a passion for helping people grow in faith through serving, worship, and connecting with God in the everyday, ordinary moments of life.
She believes each person has unique gifts that can be used in unique ways to help others grow as a disciple (Christ follower).
Pastor Kathy has a heart for missions and loves to see people experience God through serving both locally and globally. She and her husband, Jim, have led many teams to experience new and exciting ways God is at work around the world. The Currier’s are especially passionate about serving across the southern U.S. border in Mexico, where they’ve made many friends over the years and have helped others to build vital relationships that cross traditional boundaries.
Pastor Kathy is committed to Christ-centered, Biblical preaching and teaching. She wants to lead the church to be all that God intended the children of God to be, and is excited to be in Ministry here at Epiphany.
Pastor Kathy graduated from BGSU with a Bachelors in Nursing, and completed a Master of Divinity at Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO). Prior to moving to Loveland, Pastor Kathy and her husband lived in Westerville, Ohio, where she was the Executive Pastor at Church of the Messiah. She has also been the pastor of several churches in Northwest Ohio, including Fayette, Florida, Independence and Malinta.
Rev. Currier and her husband, Jim, are the parents of six grown children and 27 (!) grandchildren.
