Dan grew up on a farm in northwest Ohio. After graduating from Arcadia High School, he received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History from Bluffton University, where he also met his wife, Holly. While at Bluffton, Dan began to feel God’s call on his life to enter the ministry. After graduation he enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He then returned back close to home to pastor Van Buren UMC until he was accepted into the Residency Program for the West Ohio Conference. He spent three years as the resident pastor at Anderson Hills UMC and almost 4 years as Senior Pastor of Lewis Center United Methodist Church until he came to join us in April 2016. Dan has three beautiful daughters and loves Buckeye football! His true passion and life mission is to create, facilitate, and communicate stories of life change through Jesus Christ.
