Youth at Epiphany
What to Expect
We have opportunities for you to get involved in Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. for our Youth Sunday classes. The first Sunday of each month we worship together with our larger church community as we participate at Christ's table in communion. All other Sundays we will meet in the youth room. To get weekly updates and learn about our curriculum, activities, retreats, mission opportunities, and more, contact our Youth Pastor D'Waughn Hazard at dhazard@epiphanyumc.org
Welcome all teens! We have opportunities for both Jr. High and Senior High to participate in our small groups on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Small groups at Epiphany are a safe space for you to be in community with your peers and grow your faith together. We join with opening worship, activities and games, followed by your age specific breakout groups. For weekly updates on small groups and activities, contact our Youth Pastor D'Waughn Hazard at
dhazard@epiphanyumc.org
For weekly updates on all that is going on in our youth ministry please send a request to dhazard@epiphanyumc.org. Make sure you indicate what grade your teen is in so that I put you in the right distribution list. Let your teen know that we also are connected through Facebook (Epiphany UMC Student Ministries).
Every year we invite the new 7th graders and any other students to join our Confirmation Class. The class goes from November through April. We cover Christian history, theology, and our United Methodist heritage. The classes are on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. We are always excited to have adult mentors volunteering their time to be faith-based supporters of our soon-to-be Confirmands. We confirm and celebrate our new members on the last weekend of April. You can email D'Waughn at
dhazard@epiphanyumc.org
for more details.
